Hi Friend! I’m Bree Lambert, a personal trainer, running coach, nutritionist and ultra runner. I live in the San Jose Bay Area of Northern California with my husband Joe, daughter Summer Blu and three cats (yes, I also think this is too many cats). I’ve been pursuing endurance sports since my teenage years, starting with road triathlon, Xterra mountain bike racing and finally ultra running. I completed my first 50K in 2005 and never looked back. I’ve since completed 50 kilometer, 100 kilometer, 50 mile and 100 mile races; winning many! Below you will find a list of some top finishes, each one represents hundreds of hours of training, dedication and mental preparation. And “don’t mind if I do” mention that I am currently the USA Track and Field Female Masters Ultra Runner of the Year (Mountain Ultra Division), a title I am honored to hold!
I spend my days coaching other runners to achieve their goals, while providing personal training services to both runners and non-runners alike. I work with clients in San Jose and online. I’m also working on the development of new products that will improve training for my clients. I’m committed to my family. I love to cook and spend time with close friends. I believe in a healthy lifestyle and I think that no matter where your health is now, you can make an improvement and I’d like to help.
The world of Ultra Running is exciting and competitive but also extremely accepting of all racers, young and old, newbies or seasoned old timers. If you are new to the sport, let me welcome you–come on in, let me introduce you to a crazy and exciting new world! And to those who have been pounding the dirt for decades or more, I salute you, and invite you to comment, laugh along at my stories and even contribute to my Blog/ Catch the Breez. Whoever you are–WELCOME! Thank you for visiting my site. You can also follow me @catchthebreez , as I encourage you and others to Live Well. Finish Strong.
