Hi Friend! I’m Bree Lambert, I’m a personal trainer, running coach, nutritionalist and ultra runner. I live San Jose, in the Bay Area of Northern California with my husband, daughter and three cats (yes, I also think this is too many cats). I’ve been pursuing endurance sports since my teenage years, starting with triathlons, Xterra mountain bike racing and finally ultra running. I completed my first 50K (31.07 miles) in 2005 and never looked back. I’ve since completed 50 kilometers, 100 kilometers, 50 miles and 100 mile races, winning many! Below you will find list of all my finishes, each one of those races and finishes represent hundreds of hours of training, dedication and mental preparation. And “don’t mind if I do” mention that I am currently TAF (Track and Field) Master’s Division Ultra Runner of the Year, a title I am honored to hold!
I spend my days coaching other runners to achieve their goals, and providing personal training services to both runners and non-runners alike. I work with clients in San Jose and also long distance clients via emails and phone calls. I’m also working on the development of new products that will improve training for my clients. I’m committed to my family and to my church, I love to cook and I love to spend time with great friends. I believe in a healthy lifestyle and I think that no matter where your health is now, you can make an improvement, and I’d like to help.
The world of Ultra Running is exciting and competitive but also extremely accepting of all racers, young and old, newbies or seasoned old timers. If you are new to the sport, let me welcome you–come on in, let me introduce you to a crazy and exciting new world! And to those who have been pounding the dirt for decades or more, I salute you, and invite you to comment, laugh along at my stories and even contribute to this little blog. Whoever you are–welcome to this blog about running long, living well and finishing strong.
Live Well. Finish Strong.
